Serevent is bronchodilator which used to prevent asthma attacks.
Common use Serevent is bronchodilator which used to prevent asthma attacks. It will have no effect if asthma attacks have already started. It works by relaxing muscles in the airways to improve breathing, which helps to control or prevent asthma symptoms. This drug also is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
Dosage and directions Consult with your doctor before using. Usual dose depends on your previous treatments for asthma. Use no more than was prescribed. You will get best result using it every day 2 time per day ( approximately 12 hours apart, in the morning and evening). Always activate aerosol inhaler in a level, horizontal position. Missed dose If you forgot to take your dose in time, please do it as soon as you remember. But do not take if it is too late or almost time for your next dose. Do not increase your recommended dose. Take your usually dose next day in the same regularly time.
Overdose If you take more dose you need in long period of time it can lead to such symptoms as muscle cramps, chest pain, dry mouth, feeling light-headed, sleep problems, tremors, fast or irregular heartbeats, fainting, or seizure. If you experience one of them call your doctor immediately.
Storage Store at room temperature between 59-77 degrees F (15-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture, kids and pets. Do not use after expiration term.
